Just to break the ice, here's the first forum post on Macro Mavens. Let me suggest a topic for discussion: Name some of the most interesting outdoor locations where you've taken macro photos. For me, Strybing Arboretum at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco is always a great macro playground.

Hi Andy, nothing happened really! I started this Ning network a couple of weeks ago when I was writing an article about Ning for TechnologyReview.com. I wanted to go through the process myself and have an example that I could link to from the article. I decided that as long as I was going to create a social network, it might as well be about a real interest of mine, so I picked macro photography. The membership hasn't grown yet because I haven't had time to invite new members. But feel free to tell people about the network, and I'll invite them! Great pictures by the way!
